Benevolent Fund
The West Riding FA Benevolent Fund provides financial assistance for the relief of poverty and of sickness to the players, referees and others directly connected with Clubs, Leagues or other bodies within the jurisdiction of the West Riding County Football or residing within the Association’s areas as defined under the Rules of the Association.
Grants may be made to those injured whilst playing football or who may be involved in the game but has become incapacitated through illness.
Grants may also be made to necessitous persons who have rendered service to the game in the area or to their dependents. Grants from the fund may be made to Charitable and Benevolent causes and organisations whose objects are in alignment with the aims and purposes of the Association.

The Trustees of the fund meet on the last Tuesday of every month to review applications and determine if a grant can and should be made under the objectives of the fund.
If approved, The West Riding FA will contact you to obtain your account details to enable the grant to be issued by bank transfer. If not approved, The West Riding FA will contact you via email to either obtain further details or provide the rationale for declining the application.
