Bradford based Grassroots club, Phoenix FC have welcomed the New Year by opening a new development centre aimed at boys and girls aged between 5...

Asad Qureshi, Inclusion Development Officer at West Riding FA, said “It’s great to see sessions like this in the heart of diverse communities and at the County FA we must support and develop those involved with the delivery so that more young people can take part. We appreciate the work that a wide range of organisations do across the region and we are always on hand to help”.

Mani Salim, Chairman of Phoenix FC added “There are so many young people in Bradford looking for places to play football and as a forward thinking club we think it’s only right that we offer something for those that play for our teams but also those who aren’t currently involved with grassroots football. We hope that these sessions will attract young boys and girls from all backgrounds and ability levels”.

The sessions take place 11.30am – 1.00pm at Speedball, 5 Duncombe Way, Bradford, BD8 9SY and start on Saturday 13th January.

There will be free sessions for girls throughout January and players can drop in as and when they are available.

Places can be booked online at www.phoenixfc.co.uk or by calling 07756 769864.
